Welcome to the North Lake Dolphins Swim Team!
The North Lake Dolphins Swim Team is a parent-run volunteer organization. As such, we are critically dependent upon members of each swimmer’s family volunteering at a minimum of four (4) regular meets during the season. We are a community-oriented swim team formed to create a recreational opportunity for the children of residents of the North Lake Village Federation of HOA’s in Germantown, Maryland. Our swim team is governed by a Parent Advisory Council (PAC) who support our parent representative and treasurer in the decision making process. Everyone on the PAC is a parent volunteer. We have well trained coaches whose sole responsibility is making sure that our swimmers practice and enjoy their swim team experience.

Sportsmanship Expectations

The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) have set expectations that they expect each person visiting our pool deck for a meet and/or any other swim event to adhere to:
- Parents demand that each person treat other swimmers, coaches, officials and spectators with respect regardless of race, creed, color, gender, or ability.
- Coaches, Team Officials, Swimmers and Parents will not engage in any type of unsportsmanlike conduct with any official, coach, swimmer, or parent such as booing and taunting; refusing to shake hands; or using profane language or gestures.
- Coaches, Team Officials, and Parents will be a positive role model for all children and will encourage sportsmanship by showing respect and courtesy, and by demonstrating positive support for all swimmers, coaches, officials and spectators at every meet, practice or other swim event.
- Coaches, Team Officials, and Parents will not encourage any behaviors or practices that would endanger the health and well being of the athletes or others nor be negative towards swimmers on the team. We are inclusive and accept everyone who is a part of the GGSL and/or any other swim league.
